Joe has been wasting his life writing an unpublished, voluminous book about the ills of modern society. His wife, Annie, is fed up and leaves him.

Joe's World is an American sitcom television series that aired from December 28, 1979, until July 26, 1980.

The queen of an unnamed European country is being pressured by her Prime Minister to abdicate the throne in favour of one of her sons. But she wrestles with the question which son, the older but emotionally unstable Prince Calvin or the younger but more mature Prince George, will be named as her successor. Meanwhile, a series of murders of the palace staff is being committed by an unidentified “Skulker”, whom the queen begins to suspect may in fact be one of the princes.

A one-off special looking at the world of animation, from the Clangers to Fritz the Cat.

Joe Gennaro is a laid-off executive who can't find work, so he decides to stay at home and take care of the children while his wife goes to work as a temp secretary. Later, Joe takes a job as a chef at his brother's restaurant.

The religious beliefs of pet shop owner Joe (Freddie Jones) are shaken by the terminal illness of his daughter Lucy (Angharad Rees). For Potter, this play "makes more than a wry nod at possibilities which can comprehend pain, or disgust, or the implacable presence of death itself."

Joe loves to rock and be wild, but the time has come for him to settle down. He is to marry a conservative daughter of a well-to-do man. On his wedding day, a fiery female artist kidnaps him in order to blackmail his future father-in-law.
